Google may buy Twitter
3rd May 2009
Maybe in the nearest future the popular service of Twitter will belong to a new owner.
Rumour has it that it might as well be bought by the search giant of Google. According to various unofficial sources, Google is already negotiating about the bargain. And, apparently, if the parties do come to an agreement, the cost of the deal will be above $500 million. That is the very amount offered by the owners of Facebook for Twitter a few months ago. That time, for some reasons, the proposal was turned down.
We`d like to remind you that creators of Twitter have a certain experience in selling their projects to Google: namely, the service of Blogger, bought by the giant about five years ago.
