id talk about Tech 5

Shacknews talked with Kevin Cloud from id, who spoke a little about the technology Tech 5, which is now being actively created in the offices of the American company.
According to the specialist, the work is in full swing. The product is being prepared to be soon demonstrated to some buyers, who may well buy a license.
The main advantage of the new product from id Software is its cross-platform status. That is now there is no need to separately prepare the project under Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or PC. It is sufficient to create a single version, which will run well under any platform. This great advantage, however, does not guarantee that Tech 5 may become a contestant to Unreal Engine 4.0.
