Kantaris 0.3.5: alternative to Windows Media Player

The player Kantaris has been updated. By its appearance and functionality the program resembles the standard Windows Media Player. Kantaris uses the client of Videolan (VLC) for video playback, which gives the opportunity to play almost any file without installing additional codecs. Unlike VLC, Kantaris supports many audio formats, including MP3, WMA, OGG, MIDI, AC3, AAC, MP4 and FLAC. The player can play DVD and audio-disks. During the playback of audio the player window shows different visualization effects.
The latest version improves audio-disks playback, the support of RAR, works with subtitles, corrects errors.
