Killzone 2 sells 500000 copies in 1st month after release

According to SCE, the console shooter Killzone 2 set records for sales. This is the first game from Sony for PS3, which was sold out faster than all competitors in the circulation of 500 thousand copies. Scott Steinberg, the Vice President of the Marketing department in SCEA, confirms that the toy hit all records by the number of copies sold in the U.S. for the first 30 days after release.
The authorities of SCEA, apparently, are satisfied, but it seems to us that the PS3-exclusive could reach greater results. Killzone 2 is one of the most important projects for PlayStation 3. This futuristic stylish clone of Call of Duty could as well become a kind of alternative to Halo or Gears of War by the number of copies sold but these poor half-million copies in the United States clearly show that the project leaves much to be desired.
