MapInfo Professional 9.0: new version of the popular GIS-solution

Pitney Bowes MapInfo Company has announced a new version of its flagship product MapInfo Professional 9.0, a popular geoinformation system that provides everything necessary to work with spatial data. The new version has been tested for compatibility with Microsoft Windows Vista, is more closely integrated with corporate databases and simplifies access to the necessary information due to realized support 150 additional data formats. Thanks to its enhanced functionality, the product provides the ability to work effectively with dynamic data (such as information about traffic withdrawn at the map information on accidents or traffic routes for emergency services). Version 9.0 also provides for more flexible deployment of the product. For example, the installation of MapInfo Professional now can be done in an unobtrusive to the end-user mode. The updated interface provides faster access to data analysis means, provides additional tools to create maps and provides advanced features of the symbols marking.
