Metallica launched new site for fans

The rock-band Metallica launched a new website Mission: Metallica, which monitors the process of recording a new album of the band. The “opening” video shows how the team members are recording new songs and just fooling around.
The site published mass of materials “for fans”, including fragments of the new album, studio and concert photo, etc. Registered fans are promised the delivery of a new album on the release day.
A few weeks ago the drummer Lars Ulrich gave an interview to Rolling Stone, in which he said that the band now is exploring the possibilities of Internet and probably will join Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, distributing their new albums via the net.
