Microsoft began developing Windows 8
14th May 2009
Microsoft begun developing a new version of Windows, reports Electronista. The code name of the product is Windows 8. The developers have not named the release date so far.
In fact, the information on developing Windows 8 became known after Microsoft published an ad on the vacancy of the Head of the engineers group to test new products. One of duties of this group is to test a new version of Windows.
Microsoft reported that Windows 8 will not provide extremely high performance. In addition, the operating system supports clusters and a variety of innovative features. The latter, in particular, fundamentally change the mechanism for files access files. Currently, the main operating system produced by Microsoft, is, of course, Windows Vista. Its successor, Windows 7, is to be released in late 2009 or early 2010. Beta version of Windows 7 was introduced in early January 2009.
