Microsoft introduced desktop of 21 century

At the recent conference Convergence 2007, Microsoft has introduced to the public judgment the conception of the workplace of the specialist of 21 century. The surface of the desktop “Touch-Desk” is a touch display, which can show up any necessary information. Specialist will have an opportunity to interact with any of his colleagues, will be able to recognize and sign paper records, to monitor the performed operations and deal with a number of other daily tasks. Another display, located vertically, is used to display critically important indexes and allows the owner take emergency actions when it needs. During the presentation they also demonstrated the support of voice management mechanism and other advanced technologies that will enable the employees to better performance of their immediate duties.
