MySpace lost "myspace.co.uk”

The social network MySpace defeated in a dispute concerning domain name myspace.co.uk, which now belongs to its original owner, a small English provider from the town of Stockport.
For the first time the domain was registered 11 years ago, two years before the famous social network began existing. Despite this, in February this year the company Nominet, which deals with the domains uk, agreed that the provider uses a domain name, which simply displays advertisements, illegally, and it should be referred to MySpace. But the domain owners filed the appeal and upheld their rights. The main argument was the fact that the domain had been registered long before MySpace appeared and, consequently, the social network has no rights on it.
Now MySpace only has to negotiate with the owners of myspace.co.uk regarding the sale of the hyped-up name.
