New version of Panda Internet Security 2007 is compatible with Vista

Panda Software has released a new version of Panda Internet Security 2007, which is compatible with Vista. This application is a complex solution for security and includes antivirus, firewall, modules for protection against phishing and advertising modules. The main innovation of the latest release is a function of local backup copying. It allows users to make backup copies of the entire content of the hard disk or selected files and folders. The users can specify the frequency of backup creation, their location (on another hard disk, USB device, CD, DVD, etc.) and also the type of files for creation backup copies. If necessary, backup copying wizard Panda Internet Security 2007 will help users to make an easy recovery process of important files. The new version of Panda Internet Security 2007 includes the new technology designed for protection against rootkits (programs used to hide processes of malicious codes, which make it difficult for antiviruses to detect them). The program analyzes directly the content of the hard disk, detecting rootkits which can be installed on PC. It is also equipped with a system of blocking malicious URL. It works on the basis of black and white lists, on order to prevent access to web sites that are used for phishing and theft of personal data, or can download on computer various malicious codes.
