Company Novell officially declared about the production of the complex of tools for the work groups Novell Open Workgroup Suite. The represented packet includes server and client components, including Linux- version Novell Open Enterprise Server, the booster agents GroupWise, tools for the automation of control processes of the working stations ZENworks Suite, the operating system Linux Desktop for the desktop computers and the collection of the office applications OpenOffice. Among the basic merits of Open Workgroup Suite company Novell separates the developed means of joint effort, simplicity of control, high productivity and relatively small cost of development, administration and support. Any of the components of complex can be renewed independent of other modules. It is positioned that packet Open Workgroup Suite is the alternative to the analogous solutions of corporation Microsoft. Novell Emphasizing that with selection of Open Workgroup Suite the clients can save to 70 percent spent on software, in comparison with other products.
