Pandemic Studios develops The Lord of the Rings: Conquest

Pandemic Studios, which has recently become a part of Electronic Arts, is currently working on the next game, taking place in the universe â€œThe Lord of the Ringsâ€. The game, called The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, is being developed under the license from the creators of the popular movie.
According to developers, the player will be able to pass the game not only for the forces of good (union of people, elves and dwarves), but also for the army of evil. The game will provide two campaigns: the contents of the former corresponding to the book trilogy, and the second corresponding to the possible â€œbadâ€ ending of the story.
The game will be released in versions for Xbox 360, PS3, portable entertainment system of Nintendo DS, as well as for PC. Elaboration of The Lord of the Rings: Conquest involves the same development team created Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II. Also, New Line Cinema professionals are participating.
The world premiere of the video trailer demonstrating the actual gameplay, is scheduled for June 20, while the final version of the game must go on sale in autumn this year, reports GameSpot.
