Raster Vect 14.7: combining formats
21st May 2009
RasterVect is a tool to convert raster images (including scanned pictures) into the following formats: DXF, WMF, EMF, EPS and AI. These types of files are used in the programs of AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Microstation, VectorWorks, TrueCAD, FastCAD etc. RasterVect has a user-friendly interface and performs conversion quickly and correctly.
If you want to convert a raster image into a vector format, you should keep in mind that the image should be black and white, with no gradation of shades of gray. If the image has a different format, the program can automatically convert it into black and white and then into a vector format. The whole process takes a few seconds. There is also a possibility of back conversion, i.e. from vector to raster images.
