RasterVect 13.5: combining formats
20th May 2008
RasterVect is a tool for transforming raster images (including those derived from scanner) into the following formats: DXF, WMF, EMF, EPS and AI. These types of files are used in the programs AutoCAD, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Microstation, VectorWorks, TrueCAD, FastCAD etc. RasterVect has a convenient interface and produces conversion quickly and correctly.
Users of RasterVect should be aware that in order to convert a raster image to vector format, it must be single-digit, i.e, black and white, with no shades of grey color gradations. If the image has a different format, the program can automatically convert it and then turn into a vector format. The whole process takes seconds. There is also a possibility of reverse conversion, from raster to vector images.
The latest version improves operations with layers.
