Red Steel 2: coming up this winter

Red Steel is one of the first projects for Wii, which initially was intended to help revolutionize the genre of shooter under consoles. Unfortunately, it did not do anything extraordinary. The game just collected normal ratings. However, it managed to sell a very good number of copies. Perhaps that is why Ubisoft is willing to make a sequel.
Recently, the publishers officially announced Red Steel 2. Unfortunately, no details have been named so far. All we know is that the project is being developed by the studio of Ubisoft Paris. This fact, by the way, is really inspiring. The release is scheduled for the end of 2009. As for the gameplay, here we once again have to fight by means of swords and fire guns.
