Second addon for World of Warcraft in the status of alpha-testing
4th May 2008
According to WoW Insider, referring to an anonymous source, another official addition - Wrath of the Lich King - for the most popular multiplayer online game World of Warcraft is being in the status of a closed alpha testing now.
According to WoW Insider, the test attracted a number of ordinary players of WoW with a strict condition of non-disclosure of any information related to the project.
However, this does not indicate that fans can purchase the addon in the near future. The developers have to prepare to release beta-version and to long tests.
By the way, the work version of Wrath of the Lich King was demonstrated by Blizzard Entertainment last summer at the major European conference-exhibition of Leipzig Games Convention.
It should be recalled that the first and the only official addon for WoW today, Burning Crusade, was released on January, 16, 2007. In addition to a new continent, the game introduces a new profession of “goldsmith”, as well as neutral cities, which can be captured, two new races, flying animals, ten additional levels of developing the character and much more.
