Sony does not want to adopt Syberia
13th May 2009
It turns out that the French company of Microids is now working on the third part of the remarkable adventure series Syberia. They say the company even intends to move the adventure to Sony PlayStation.
Of course, Syberia 3 is to be released for PC, but Microids does not abandon hope to “capture” consoles a swell. The reason is obvious: increased budgets for the development. Nowadays, all competitive products have to have platform versions: it is no longer luxury, but ecessity.
Sony, however, does not show any particular desire to “admit” products of Microids to its aristocratic family. Earlier, Sony turned down a few products from this publisher (including the PS2-version of Syberia). In addition, Sony requires huge royalties that not everyone will be able to pay. All we are left is to cherish the dream of Syberia 3 porting under Xbox 360.
