Take-Two sent GTA IV to production

During the shareholders meeting the representatives of Take-Two said that Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV) went on production. The project is already being sent to numerous retail stores worldwide. The release of the game with “M” ratings is scheduled for April 29, 2008. GTA IV will be available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Despite the fact that the release has not yet been held, experts predict enormous commercial success of this project. In October last year, a Janco Partner representative, Mike Hickey, said that during the first week the game would be sold in the circulation of over 9.5 million copies, 5.8 million of those falling on the part of United States. This week, Variety reported that Take-Two is confident that in the first week after the release its income will amount 6 million, that is, $ 400 million.
As GTA IV will be available on several platforms, the game could easily break the premiere record of Halo 3, which still remains an exclusive for Xbox 360.
Meanwhile, playing the entire game world is looking forward to the release.
