The Last Remnant-new JRPG from Square Enix

In the latest issue of Game Informer magazine, a new game from Square Enix was announced. The original RPG from famous publishers is called The Last Remnant. The director of the product is Hiroshi Takai. In The Last Remnant one can choose between the two characters: Rush (traditional protagonist of Square Enix), and The Conquerer (a dark lad of the complex temper).According to the journalists of Game Informer, this game will be an attempt of Japanese companies to provide more western role-playing. The project is based on the engine Unreal Engine 3, which Square Enix has licensed this year. Release will take place no sooner than 2008. The project is multi-platform and is likely to go for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
