VMware Player 2.5.2: free virtual machine

VMware Player is a free tool that allows users to run virtual machines on PCs running under Linux or Windows. The program is useful for the software beta-testing. Unlike commercial program of VMware Workstation, VMware Player can not create virtual machines. However, it provides a few ready-made applications that can be downloaded from the site of the developer. VMware Player also supports machines created in Virtual PC and Symantec LiveState Recovery.
The latest version supports more guest operating systems: Windows Vista Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2, Asianux Server 3.0 Service Pack 1, openSUSE 11.1, Ubuntu 8.10, Ubuntu 8.04 LTS. In addition, it offers experimental support of Fedora 11, FreeBSD 7.1, Mandriva Linux 2009, Novell SLE11.0, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.8, Sun Solaris 10 Update 6, Ubuntu 9.04.
