Adobe Acrobat and Reader 8.1 are ready for work

Adobe Corporation has released simultaneously the first major updates for Acrobat and Reader 8.0. The main features of the current updates are the support for Windows Vista and capabilities of remote printing, realized due to the cooperation with FedEx Company. The latter is presented like a bar “Send to FedEx Kinko's”, through which files needed for printing can be sent and quickly printed in a special FedEx service, designed mainly for business people who are in the various tours and travels. For “full understanding” with new Microsoft products they added integration with Office 2007. Now Acrobat users can convert Office documents into PDF through contextual menu. For Mac users they added flash-player that eliminates the need to use QuickTime. Adobe Reader 8.1.0 can be downloaded in versions for Mac OS X, Windows 9x/Me, Linux and Windows 2000.
