The Norwegian studio Funcom reported that a week later after the release of the PC-version of the multiplayer online game Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, the number of registered players exceeded 400000. Slightly more than half of this number were players from North America.
The collection edition of the game was completely sold out. The circulation of the collection edition was about 111000 copies. During the first ten days since the start of sales the developerâ€™s site had been visited by more than 2.2 million people and the first reviews of the game in specialized press were pretty positive. Some publishers awarded the game with the rating 90%.
Unlike most multi-player projects, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures has a full-fledged single game mode. It still requires internet connection, since the game is carried out through the same account as online battles, only for free.
