AkelPad 3.3.2: free text editor

A new version of a small, but convenient and quick text editor has been released. AkelPad works with text documents in one-window or multiple-windows mode, fully supports Unicode lines on Unicode-systems (NT/2000/XP/2003), and also Unicode code pages. Using AkelPad you can edit files even with the attribute â€œRead onlyâ€, and also preview files before opening. Other features include multi-level backoff system, a list of recently opened in the program files, storage of the code page for the file; the position of the insert label and the last line of search / replace. AkelPad supports additional modules and allows you to print the document.
To the latest version they added the option â€œnotification about the saving in read-only filesâ€, added reports AKD_SETNEWLINE, AKD_RECODESEL, AKDN_ACTIVATE, AKDN_RECENTFILESDELETE. Also, when saving the attribute archive is added, and if the file contains Unicode BOM, it is not checked on the binary. Besides, they corrected some errors.
