Apple attracts developers with Safari 4

The company gave developers access to the new version of Safari 4, called by the company “fastest in the world”.
Safari 4 is based on the latest version of the platform WebKit, used to load and display web pages. Also, Apple announced the introduction of technology SquirrelFish, which will provide unprecedented speed of processing JavaScript scenarios.
An important innovation of Safari 4 is the possibility of saving web pages in the form of “web applications”, like in technology Fluid, which saves necessary web pages open at a suitable browser, in the form of special icons. Further, the user can open these web-applications like ordinary local applications installed on the computer. Besides, the user can choose the form to open new windows: in the beloved tab, in the home page or as a clean page.
The developers of Safari 4 point out that the new browser fully passes test on compatibility with Acid3.
