AV-Test.org called Panda ActiveScan best protection against rootkits

Organization of AV-Test.org has tested some antivirus solutions for their ability to detect rootkits intended for covert work in the system. The best result in 86% of detection and destruction was shown by Panda ActiveScan, which bypassed Kaspersky Online Scanner and Trend Micro HouseCall. Special attention in the tests was given to security of Windows Vista, here 100% active and hidden rootkits were unable to escape from Panda Antivirus 2008, showed advantage over Kaspersky Anti-Virus and McAfee VirusScan 2008.
It`s no use to argue that today`s threats make security solutions provide reliable protection on all fronts, for meticulous hackers can exploit any loophole in order to infiltrate the computer.
