Catalyst 8.6: drivers for ATI

New drivers for ATI video cards have come out. The drivers are intended for graphics cards of the series Radeon HD 3800, HD 3600, HD 3400, HD 2900, HD 2600, HD 2400, X1950, X1900, X1800, X1650, X1600, X1300, X1050, X850, X800, X700, X600, X550, X300, 9800, 9700, 9600, 9650 and 9500. The drivers work under Windows XP and Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit versions).
The latest version adds the support of adaptive smoothing filters for applications OpenGL when using graphics cards HD 3000 and HD 2000. In addition, the drivers provide the support of CrossFireX QUAD for OpenGL applications. Users can use any combination of graphics cards HD 3870, HD 3850 and HD 3870 X2 with three or four graphics processors. There are also some improvements in the installer: now after installing the drivers over the previous version rebooting is not required.
