Fans against Left 4 Dead 2

A group of users appeared at Steam who boycott the cooperative shooter Left 4 Dead 2. At the moment this group involves about 20 000 gamers. The fans are infuriated with the fact that Valve is trying to make money on gamers by selling them the same game only added with new maps and characters. They are going to force the developers to release the sequel for free.
The boycott`s participants believe that Left 4 Dead 2 will split the fans communities and reduce users` activity in Left 4 Dead. It would be just a ridiculous situation, was it not so serious due to a large amount of people involved. Of course, Valve will by no means cancel the sequel, however, it is quite possible that the company will release more content in the future.
