First update package for Maya

The first update package for Maya 8.5 has been released. It includes corrections of errors in Maya nCloth module, which is the part of Maya Nucleus environment, in polygon modeling tools, API. Besides, they corrected errors associated with visualization, including mental ray. Maya Nucleus environment, first presented in Maya 8.5, offers new possibilities of creating characters animation. The work of Maya Nucleus is based on technology developed by the researcher Jos Stam, who has received the award for technical achievements from the American Film Academy. Within the limits of Maya Nucleus you can create elements that interact with other dynamic objects such as fluids, clothes and solids. Maya 8.5 includes the first module of Maya Nucleus - Maya nCloth environment. Using it 3D-animators can create complex interactions with cloth, metal, plastic and other materials. Using this module, you can, for example, design realistic behavior of the jacket hood. Besides, when imitating the interaction you can take into account atmospheric pressure, due to which you can create, for example, the realistic animation of balloons.
