Flock 0.7.14: browser of new generation

A new version of a free browser Flock has been released. The program, which is developed on the basis of Firefox, is positioned as “browser for communication” and differs from competitive products in the presence of the large number of options related to the Internet-communication. Its creator, who had previously participated in the development of Mozilla, says that browsers have been changed little for the past 10 years, while the needs of users have been changed very much. Firefox, he said, although safer and more convenient than IE, but it is still far from the ideal.
That`s why Flock includes not only safe surfing, but also the ability to read RSS-news, a tool for files sharing between users, convenient means of blogs managing, an access to online-recourse del.icio.us for exchange with Internet-references and to Flicker service for photo-sharing. Another interesting feature of the browser is the instant emergence in user blog, the information, which he selected in another web-page. The latest version includes a patch for Firefox 1.5.0.12.
