GroBoto 2.1: unusual 3D-editor

A new version of the 3D-editor GroBoto has been released. Although the program has tools for modeling and animation, texture and visualization, it can not be called general editor. At the very least, the developers do not see it as such. They say that its main purpose is to create complex, changing structures.
The program lacks polygon modeling tools. Instead, there are tools for drawing, called "bots". They help to create a variety of geometric shapes: from organic to the abstract and architectural. All changes made in the scene are displayed in real time. This includes the effect of fog, shadows from light sources, texture, etc. Another feature of the program is useing unique texture projection, due to which imposition of textures takes much less time than in other 3D-editors. The results can be exported to the format of obj or saved in TIFF, JPEG, BMP, AVI. The latest version was added with self-lighting textures and objects, new elements for sky creation, means for creating fog with customizable color, thickness and transparency, new tools for the generation of sky, the new "bots". Also it runs under Windows Vista.
