“Kaspersky Lab” has announced the seventh version of products for protection of home users from information threats - Kaspersky Antivirus 7.0 and Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0. Personal Products of the seventh version are developed in accordance with designed by “Kaspersky Lab” the triple protection concept, which uses three main methods of detecting threats: signature, proactive and heuristic. In version 7.0, for the first time, they implemented a new heuristic analyzer, which can detect and delete still unknown species of malicious software, basing on their behaviour. In addition, the program Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 includes a number of enhancements that improve its functionality and the protection level. Thus, the new module Parental Control, which has linguistic analyzer and blacklists of prohibited addresses, allows parents to monitor children`s actions in the Internet, for example, to prohibit access to the web-resources, containing violence, pornography, drug propaganda. The protection module of confidential information Privacy Control prevents the theft of important information, e-mail addresses, passwords, bank data and credit card numbers. In both products of the seventh version they realized a number of enhancements that relate to the speed of their work and reduction of the use of system resources, in comparison with the products of generation 6.0. the particular attention is given to optimization of the work of network screen with applications, constantly using the Internet-connection. The presence in Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 of components for the struggle against all major information threats allows its use for protection of computers of small businesses, where the use of complex corporate solutions for information protection is meaningless.
