Left 4 Dead 2 for PS3: true or false?

Not so long ago, experts of Joystiq noticed that the game Left 4 Dead from Valve 2 appeared on the site of EA as a product for PS3. This event caused extreme agitation, for many believed that the project would be an PC and Xbox 360 exclusive. Later, all mentions on PS3 mysteriously disappeared from the page.
Now we guess what really happened. Does PS3-version of Left 4 Dead 2 really exist? In fact, there is no reason to doubt that. First and most important, EA is unlikely to miss an opportunity to make their fortune on this product. Second, the site showed even a variant of PS3 artwork of the game. So, they meant it.
However, so far we have to be satisfied with nothing but assumes.
