Microsoft`s own means of advertising DirectX 10

The company Microsoft uses a perfectly strange advertising technology. The company promotes DirectX 10 by comparing it with DirectX 9. In the first case, users are encouraged to look at images of Crysis heroes. Then they are advised to look at the head of s the character of Halo: Combat Evolved.
generally speaking, the policy is rather queer. Crysis is by all means one of the most tech games of this generation. It is certainly a perfect choice to illustrate the benefits of DirectX 10. But why they use a four years old game to illustrate DirectX 9 (the PC port came out in 2005). After all, Crysis also works on DirectX 9, and does not look any worse because of it. As usual, Microsoft`s tricks are too barefaced.
