Microsoft stops producing Digital Image Suite

Microsoft has officially announced the termination of producing Digital Image Suite, reports Betanews.com. This decision was based on the fact that the functionality provided within this application has already been implemented in other products, as well as in Windows Vista. For example, as an equitable substitution users are offered to try the recently released Annex Design Expression, a set of professional tools for creating illustrations and graphic design. Digital Image Suite will be distributed through a network of retailers to run out of stock. The developer also intends to support the product within three years from the date of purchase (the official date of termination of support-April 30, 2010)
