Mirror`s Edge 2: already under development

DICE released Mirror`s Edge last year. The game had different reviews, but sold not really well.
Recently, the Executive Director of Electronic Arts, John Riccitiello, announced that the studio is going to develop the game later. A small team is already working on the sequel.
Initially, Mirror`s Edge meant to be a trilogy, however, after its release only most desperate fans could dream of a sequel. Many specialists believe that the main reason of bad sales is the bad time for release: the project came out together with such hits as Call of Duty: World at War and others.
Later, the project from DICE did manage to get over 1 million sold copies, though the developers hoped to sell no less than 3 millions. Hopefully, the sequel will be more successful in the commercial point of view.
