New RealPlayer: downloading video from YouTube

A new version of the well-known player RealPlayer has been announced. They promise quite serious innovations. Firstly, the program will support files not only of their own formats, but also Windows Media, Flash and QuickTime. Besides, in RealPlayer they will realize an opportunity to download popular now streaming video and save files on the computer. The new version of the player will support download from YouTube, MySpace, Soapbox, Revver and from other well-known sites. With new RealPlayer you will be able to download several video files simultaneously, that is, some capabilities of download managers will move to the program. Users will be able to determine whether they want to watch video or not when it is half downloaded or wait until the entire file will be on the hard disk. Besides, the program will include a utility for writing files to disks. RealPlayer will support Internet Explorer and Firefox. The release of open beta-version for Windows is expected in next month, the version for Mac OS X will appear later in this year.
