OpenOffice 3.1: free office suite

A new version of the free program OpenOffice. This release introduces a new option of selecting, a better displaying graphics, improved movement of graphical objects, improved closure of access to a file while editing it by multiple users in the network, convenient display of formulas in cells, selecting SQL syntax in the Base program and much more.
One of the main innovations of this version is support of a new format called Open XML (. Docx,. Xlsx,. Pptx), in which MS Office 2007documents are saved by default. In addition, in version 3 supports the latest version of the format of ODF 1.2.
The current version runs under Mac OS X without X11, has limited VBA support and includes the component of Solver.
The program introduces some innovations, such as adding comments on fields, in the Calc editor; new visual themes, etcâ€¦
