Opera 9.5: 5 million downloads for the first days!

Developers of the browser Opera reported on a record number of downloads of the new version of the program, which was released on June, 12. For the first five days Opera 9.5 has been downloaded by 4.7 million people. For comparison: when in 2005 Opera 8 was released, the developers proudly talked about the record of 2 million downloads in two weeks.
In addition, Opera Software announced that the number of people using this browser has doubled since 2006, when Opera 9 was released. Each month, Opera is used by about 20 million people and another 12 million work with the mobile browser Opera Mini.
Before releasing the final version of Opera 9.5, the company also fixed a record number of beta testers.
