Protection key for HD DVD and Blu Ray was cracked the day after release

As you know, the protection of optical media of a new generation has been forced very quickly. Not long ago, on news Web 2.0 Digg aggregator information was appearing on evasion the protection for copying HD DVD and Blu Ray-disks. After a formal patch was released to protect high-density disks, someone BtCB has reported that it had been forced by him on the next day. Significantly, the key was found in the web site Freedom to Tinker in the form of Japanese poem of three strophes, haiku. It is turned out that the poem coincided with the method of decryption of 128-bit key, elaborated by the licensing government (AACS). Using the key, the user can get an access to all protected blocs. Note that the previous key forcing liquidated the need to find Private Host Key, and also provided an opportunity to generate a unique volume key with the help of the simple encryption.
