QuickTime 7.5 eliminates five errors

Apple has released an update for the multimedia player QuickTime X, eliminating five vulnerabilities. In the latest version 7.5, four errors have critical rating, they allow taking remote control over Mac OS X, Windows XP and Vista. Two vulnerabilities are contained in the files of images PICT; launching exploit leads to system freezing or running for execution of arbitrary code. The rest of errors are in the content AAC, video codec Indeo (a buffer overflow error) and in the method of handling files URL.
It is noticeable that the last time Apple eliminated errors in April by releasing 11 patches.
