SymRegFix: fixng bugs in the registry after installing Windows XP SP3

Symantec Corp. has released a special tool SymRegFix, which helps get rid of errors that arise after installing Windows XP SP3 and Vista SP1 on some computers.
After releasing service packs from Microsoft users of Symantec products reported on the incorrect work of devices manager Windows, removing network connections and filling the registry with a huge number of non-significant values. The problem is in the component of SymProtect, which is within the range of different applications of line Norton. It is designed to protect anti-virus applications from external invasion and from making unauthorized changes to the registry.
The tool SymRegFix removes all incorrect values, which have been added due to incorrect work. Symantec also recommends that users, who had not yet updated their operating system, should download a special patch via LiveUpdate and then reboot.
