The eighth version of Adobe Acrobat 3D came out

Adobe Systems Company has announced the availability of the product Adobe Acrobat 3D 8, due to which engineers, specialists, responsible for the preparation of technical publications, and other users will be able to embed 3D CAD-models of any degree of complexity (including assembly of more than 500 megabytes) in the compact PDF documents.
The developers of the document can expose the model embedded in PDF-file to hundredfold compression or manage without it, depending on the needs of the concrete business process. The document may also include other information needed for product manufacturer, including technical specifications of the product, a list of materials, etc.
PDF Document, which includes 3D-models and satellite information, may be submitted to the review of colleagues, vendors, partners and customers. A created document will be equipped initially with navigation means, which will allow looking at models from various sides, move near and move them away, take to pieces or see a model â€œin sectionâ€. The only application needed for viewing and changing is the distributed free product Adobe Reader.
Adobe Acrobat 3D 8 is initially addressed to the representatives of engineering, aerospace and motor-car industries, manufacturers of consumer electronics, scientists and specialists of other industries.
