The new version of Kaspersky Antivirus 5.7 for Linux

“Kaspersky Lab” has released a new version of Kaspersky Antivirus 5.7, designed for protection of file servers and workstations running under Linux. The program is available in two versions - for Linux Workstation and for Linux File Server. The program can search and neutralize malicious codes in all objects of file systems, located on the workstation / server; it has a system of automatic download of updates of anti-virus database. They integrated in the program the component kavmonitor (on-access scanner), which provides virus protection of file systems in real-time mode, intercepts and blocks suspicious processes running on the system, reducing the probability of damaging by malicious program.
In the new version of Kaspersky Antivirus 5.7 for Linux Workstation and File Server they implemented the capability to manage the security settings of the product by using Kaspersky Administration Kit - a tool, allowing the central managing of anti-virus protection system in complex computer networks.
