VirtualDub 1.6.19: free solution for video editing

Regular version of the popular utility for working with video has been released. This is a free and very convenient tool for editing digital video. It allows you to cut and stick video, as well as to impose on the image additional filters. One of the advantages of Virtual Dub is the capability of cutting and sticking video files without re-compression, and thus, without loss of quality.
The program will be of use if you need to convert video into DivX format, because it manages with coding qualitatively and quickly. The program can even find errors in video thread. It can also be used for combining video and audio tracks, or when, on the contrary, you want to keep the film sound in a single file. Another feature of Virtual Dub is capture of video from TV-tuner, video camera or from the board of video-capture with simultaneous compression in one of the supported formats.
