Vista Start Menu 2.3 SE: an alternative to “Start”
24th June 2007
There are a lot of programs meant to improve these or those features of Windows. The utility Vista Start Menu is one of them. This small program is an alternative to the “Start” menu. The main difference is that the labels on applications that are installed in the system do not change their position and remain at the same location. Labels in Vista Start Menu are arranged alphabetically, and even if a user deletes one of the programs, the other does not change, just for the remote site of formation of a blank space. When a user installs a new program, this space is filled. Besides, Vista Start Menu is much better than “Start” because next to the name of each program there its icon displayed.
The latest version offers support of 64-bit Windows, improved work on systems with several monitors. In addition, it is now possible to place the Start menu anywhere on your desktop.
