Amaya 9.55: internet according to standards
13th July 2007
Though this free program combines the ability of a browser and web-editor, its main purpose is to test the code of web-pages. The program is developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), engaged in developing web-standards, thus Amaya displays correctly only those pages, code of which is written in compliance with all required standards. Amaya can edit HTML, CSS styles, supports XHTML and MathML.
The latest version was added with the ability to store documents with all the elements referring to them (objects, images, scripts, etc.); with two new buttons on the toolbar to open and create documents; with updated tool Attributes; with support for templates. Besides, it is now possible to send documents by mail, and save passwords.
