AVG Free Edition 7.5.476: free antivirus

A free version of antivirus AVG Antivirus System has been updated. The programme has all the necessary products options: file scanner, the scanner of e-mail, it supports the capability of the automatic monitoring, when switching on the computer it checks the RAM and boot sectors of the disk. AVG Antivirus has multilingual support.
There is also a professional version of AVG Antivirus System, but the improvements of the paid release are refered not to the main options for scanning the system for viruses, but to the interface settings, tasks scheduler and some other minor features. Besides, the free version cannot be installed on such systems as Windows 2003 Server.
