Catalyst 7.6: drivers for ATI video cards

The drivers for ATI video cards have been updated. The drivers are designed for video cards of series: Radeon HD 2900, HD 2600, HD 2400, X1950, X1900, X1800, X1600, X1300, X1050, X850, X800, X700, X600, X550, X300, 9800, 9700, 9600, 9650 and 9500. The drivers are running under Windows XP and Windows Vista (with 32-bit and 64-bit version).
In this version of the driver they improved the performance in the games Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and Dark Messiah Might and Magic when using ATI Radeon HD2900 XT Crossfire cards. If the inclusion of HDR the increase of performance amounts up to 16%. Besides, they corrected some errors, wich were occurred in the games Quake 4 and IL2 Sturmovik-Forgotten Battles, and also the errors associated with CrossFire, DVD playing, etc.
Also, they offer to users of ATI video cards to participate in the project Folding@Home, which will enable the power of thousands of computers, connected to the Internet, to find cures of different diseases.
