Flock 0.9: browser of new generation

A new version of a free browser Flock has been released. Established on the basis of Firefox, the program itself is a kind of â€œbrowser for communicationâ€ and differs from competitive products by the large number of options concearning Internet-communication. Its developer, who had previously participated in the development of Mozilla, said that browsers has changed, but too little over the past 10 years, while the needs of users have changed very much. Firefox, according to his words, though safer and more convenient than IE, but it is still far from ideal.
Therefore, Flock includes not only features of safe surfing, but also the ability to read RSS news, a tool for sharing files between users, convenient means for managing blogs, access to the online-resource del.icio.us for exchanging Internet-links and to service Flickr for sharing photos. Another interesting feature of the browser is showing information in a userâ€™s blog, which he selected on another web page.
The latest version has been added with the feature of searching videofiles, new tools for tracking new contents added by friends, improved system of favorites and support of Ma.gnolia and del.icio.us, MiniBar Media panel for quick access to video files and photos. The new version of the browser is based on Firefox 2 and includes all updates in the security system, which have been release up to this moment.
