FreeRIP 3.09: loss-free compression

A new version of simply ripper-compressor has been released. The program contains built-in LAME (MP3) and Ogg Vorbis encoders; it can transform already existing WAV-file into one of these formats. The program provides two modes of operation â€“ for processing one file in pack mode. During the ripping or compression you can set volume level. FreeRIP supports online freedb database and automatic tag filling, so if there is a connection to the Internet all data on the album title, artistâ€™s name and tracks can be filled automatically. The program is available in more than 25 languages. The program is distributed in two versions â€“ free and commercial. Paid version has the mode of more rapid ripping and conversion, and also the opportunity of running of several program copies simultaneously. To the latest version they added the option of opening the folder in which files are recorded, after conversion is completed, corrected errors.
